Get the word out to riders to help stop the bus cuts

One of the things a lot of Transit Advocates hear on buses is "I didn't know they're cutting service." The upcoming bus cuts aren't that well known, even though they affect all bus riders and will mean longer waits, longer trip times, and less opportunities for 24-hour shifts. And I haven't seen a single announcement on OCTA's buses regarding the massive March service change.

But you can help change that. The group is passing out flyers to tell our fellow riders what's going on and invite them to join the Transit Advocates, so we can jump-start our volunteer base. And you can print it from the convenience of your own home!

For Transit Advocate members, here's the sign-up sheet in PDF and Word.

It's going to look like

It's going to look like Christmas on all of the busses that I ride! Get ready for a snowstorm of paper, a blizzard of flyers to cover all of the busses that I come into contact with!
