Happy New Year's! Ride OCTA free tonight

It's been awhile since my last post (very busy!). Just a reminder that for this New Year's Eve, you can ride OCTA's fixed-route bus system free.

As a side note, OCTA also announced a rollback in tolls for their 91 Express Lanes for two particular hours out of the week.

Inspired by Ted Nguyen and OCTA's efforts to reach out to Orange County denizens, the Transit Advocates group is also trying to do more outreach to bus riders. We're planning a mid-February public infosession, plus you can reach us on Facebook, Twitter at @TransitRiderOC, or on Flickr. More details soon!

Meanwhile busses are cut

HB Rider's picture

This will be nice to remember in March when close to 20% of the busses are cut. Is it just the way politicians are nowadays -- give those with the money a bargain, while those who have nothing have to go without?
