OCTA tweaks bus schedules this June 13, 2010

in

OCTA's released a new round of service changes effective June 13, 2010. You can pick up the pamphlet on OCTA buses or view the changes online at http://www.octa.net/june10sc.aspx.

Interestingly, OCTA included the statement, "In addition, the recent reinstatement of state transit funding means that September service reductions that were previously planned can be avoided." This is welcome news: OCTA had planned to cut another 10% of bus service this fall.

Most of their adjustments are schedule tweaks; some of these claim to improve transfer times between routes line the 70 and 90, and the 757 and 758. The routes affected include the 1, 25, 38, 47, 50, 57, 59, 60, 66, 82, 86, 90, 129, 188, 472, 757, 758.
